1. Today I build 3 collection nets, and a lantern.
2. A lantern will help me as a light source if I don't want to sleep through the night. This one I think is optional but as for collection nets, I think you MUST build it to be very successful in this game. Collection nets just collect items if it goes near it, so you could be multi-tasking and doing something else while it catches items, so you won't easily run out of materials.
3. Tomorrow I will probably focus on making more collection nets because I once ran out of materials at a crucial moment and I learned my lesson. I still haven't been able to go onto an island yet either, so I will probably be trying to do that tomorrow.

I built it where most of the items are in the center and not on the edge (still working on that) so sharks won't eat the items along with the wood foundation.
